Overview

As a Senior Legal Counsel (12-month contract), you will play a key role in supporting Workleap’s legal function during a period of continued growth.

• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Law degree and active membership with the Barreau du Québec.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive legal experience.

• Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) and active membership with the Barreau du Québec for a minimum of 10 years.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive legal experience.
• Strong expertise in corporate law and data compliance & privacy.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, business-first guidance.
• High autonomy and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a SaaS or tech environment is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of privacy frameworks such as GDPR is a strong plus.
