Overview

As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the legal function of Workleap during a period of continuous growth, providing pragmatic legal advice on various topics.

Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) and active membership in the Barreau du Québec for at least 10 years.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive legal experience, with expertise in corporate law and compliance.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice.
• Strong autonomy and judgment, with confidence in decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex legal issues.
• Experience in a SaaS or tech environment is a significant asset.
• Knowledge of data protection frameworks like GDPR is important.
