Associate Medical Director - Washington - Remote

Overview

As a full-time Associate Medical Director (AMD) at Workit Health, you will be responsible for collaborating with a physician to provide care to our members along with providing clinical oversight and managing a team of staff providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants). Our providers see patients via tele-health platforms. Currently, all of our positions are remote until further notice.

In Short

• Provide regional clinic oversight (Approximately 80% admin and 20% client care)
• Leading a team of providers in evidence-based practice
• Participate in clinic leadership initiatives
• Collaborate with medical leadership to support addiction medicine care
• Leverage data to inform process improvements
• Hiring, onboarding, and ongoing support for your team of providers
• Co-facilitate virtual shared medical appointments
• Conduct new patient evaluations
• Prescribe and monitor medications for substance use disorders
• Maintain standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in addiction medicine
• Leadership experience preferred
• Experience prescribing SUD medications
• Active DEA license
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
• Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
• Familiarity with online work tools
