Driftless Wisconsin Regional Organizer - Remote

Overview

The Driftless Wisconsin Regional Organizer will build grassroots organizing operations in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin, working to recruit and develop leaders and volunteers for electoral tactics and year-round party building.

• Lead the Wolf Pack volunteer program to recruit volunteers.
• Train volunteers and build grassroots leadership.
• Develop relationships within the community to recruit the right candidates.
• Organize and recruit volunteers for candidate campaigns.
• Design and manage political education opportunities.
• Build relationships with allied organizations.
• Manage joint volunteer activities.
• Lead get out the vote efforts for local candidates.
• Support relational voter work and postcard programs.
• Monitor campaign strategies and logistics.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of organizing experience.
• 3 cycles of campaign experience preferred.
• Commitment to social, economic, and racial justice.
• Ability to create and manage organizing campaigns.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Familiarity with Southeastern politics preferred.
• Must be based in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin.
