Overview

The Working Families Party (WFP) is seeking an experienced communications professional to manage communications and digital work in the Southeast Region, focusing on media relations and strategy to elevate WFP leaders as movement thought leaders.

• Manage the communications and digital work of WFP's Southeast Region.
• Develop and execute regional, state, and local media plans.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of communications experience.
• Two years of management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience working with press in the South is an advantage.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Flexibility and patience in a dynamic environment.
