Overview

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for supporting business development and growth of accounts to achieve sales and profitability objectives for Wolverine & Bates, focusing on building relationships and promoting product placement.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Planning and Marketing.
  • Manage business plans and forecasts.
  • Identify new account opportunities and drive forecast accuracy.
  • Prepare strategic sales presentations.
  • Maintain updated account and sales records.
  • Perform regular in-store visitations.
  • Monitor model stocks and inventory levels.
  • Advise management on regional problems and opportunities.
  • Extensive travel required (70%).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of wholesale or retail experience.
  • Strong business partnership development skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of retail math measurements.
  • Strategic selling and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
