• We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to develop production-level microservices in Kotlin.
• Our Engineering organization consists of 700+ Engineers working across 70+ product teams.
• Engineers handle the whole development process autonomously.
• We make decisions as a team and take architectural decisions together.
• The main stack includes Kotlin, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, GitHub Actions, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• We focus on continuous learning and collaboration.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Relocation support is provided for candidates outside Finland or Sweden.
• Compensation includes monthly pay and DoorDash RSUs.

Requirements

• Experience with Kotlin or any other JVM backend languages like Java and Scala.
• Experience in handling the whole development cycle to production.
• Ability to tackle big challenges and envision scalability and availability.
• Strong collaboration skills.

• Ability to express opinions and work collaboratively.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Open to exploring modern languages like Python and Go.
