Software Engineer - Observability - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer in Observability at Wolt, you will develop scalable observability and reliability tooling, maintain performance test frameworks, and improve overall system health.

• Design and develop scalable software solutions for observability and reliability.
• Contribute to architecting and maintaining the observability stack.
• Take ownership of initiatives to improve observability quality and efficiency.
• Advocate for SRE principles to enhance system availability and performance.
• Build tooling and frameworks for incident management and system performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement observability best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive root cause analysis.
• Document and share knowledge through guides and training sessions.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in software engineering and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python.
• Experience with observability platforms at scale.
• Hands-on experience with observability stack using open source tools.
• Understanding of modern observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry.
• Solid understanding of SRE principles and incident response.
• Comfortable working in large-scale distributed environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
