Overview

The global case manager (Experienced Legal Assistant/Visa Consultant) role is an integral part of the firm’s Global practice, which focuses on assisting clients with employment based immigration matters outside of the US. The bulk of the case manager's time is spent in managing cases, including interacting with clients and with local advisors in countries outside the US.

In Short

• Manage clients’ immigration cases from initiation to conclusion.
• Oversee the work of local advisors during the case process.
• Lead client calls for business visa cases.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal databases.
• Alert attorneys and managers of any case escalations.
• Manage clients’ global mobility programs.
• Prepare client presentations for attorney or manager review.
• Learn and implement WR-specific case workflows.
• Develop understanding of global mobility requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for specific countries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.
• 5+ years of experience in global mobility or international immigration.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, especially in professional settings.
