Overview

The Remote Healthcare Specialist will conduct clinical reviews of cases, performing clinical intake and adjudicating requests for additional information or escalating to Medical Directors as necessary.

In Short

  • Conduct clinical review of cases not meeting criteria.
  • Perform clinical intake and adjudication of cases.
  • Request additional clinical information as needed.
  • Escalate cases to Medical Directors when necessary.
  • Must have an active PRC and USRN License.
  • Requires at least 2 years of bedside experience.
  • Experience in Triage Phone handling is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work on shifting schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Immediate start is available.

Requirements

  • Active PRC and USRN License with 2 years of bedside experience.
  • At least 2 years of Triage Phone handling experience.
  • Preferred experience in ER, OR, Medical Surgical, UR, UM, Triage, ICU, or Hemodialysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for professional interactions.
  • Good knowledge in the Healthcare or Medical domain.
  • Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.
  • Availability to work on holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to start ASAP.
