Overview

The Patient Services Coordinator provides essential administrative support in a high-volume ambulatory setting, acting as the primary interface between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient flow and outstanding service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of secretarial experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of managed care and insurance plans.
  • Ability to handle stress and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Epic systems is desirable.
