Overview

The Patient Care Associate works under the direction of licensed personnel to assist patients with daily living tasks, ensuring their comfort and safety while providing essential patient care.

• Assists patients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitors and records vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Completes necessary documentation in medical records.

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support and other medical credentials preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in patient care or elder care preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to follow instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician certification preferred.
• Experience in patient care or elder care (1-2 years preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient computer skills for electronic medical records.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong patient/customer service skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Physical stamina for frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
