Patient Care Associate - Remote

Overview

The Patient Care Associate will assist patients with daily living tasks and support licensed personnel in providing exceptional care at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

In Short

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Perform vital signs and document accurately.
• Support patients with hygiene tasks.
• Help patients reposition themselves in bed.
• Communicate health concerns to nursing staff.
• Work under the direction of licensed personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Engage effectively with patients and families.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficiently use electronic medical records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in patient care/elder care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to interact compassionately with patients.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred.
