Overview

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) is responsible for performing a variety of direct and non-direct patient care duties, including routine patient care duties as well as clerical, supply, and messenger responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Six months to one year nursing assistant experience required.
• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills required.
• Teamwork and professional demeanor required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Completion of unit-specific training required.
• Health care experience preferred.
