Overview

The Neuroscience Patient Care Associate (PCA) at Brigham and Women's Hospital is responsible for supporting registered nurses with clinical tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of the neuroscience unit while providing excellent care to patients and their families.

• Support RN with clinical tasks including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant Certification required upon hire.
• Preferred enrollment in BSN or direct-entry Masters’ programs for nursing students.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• May not currently hold a valid nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required.
