Overview

The Medical Assistant will assist with the delivery of patient care, ensuring quality care and safety in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.

In Short

  • Assist with patient care delivery.
  • Manage patient intake and verify information.
  • Document patient information accurately in EHR.
  • Prepare and assist with office procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Administer immunizations and document accordingly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
  • Completion of Medical Assistant School/Program preferred.
  • Enrollment in programs for further skill development is a plus.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
  • Knowledge of patient care protocols and procedures.
  • Understanding of immunization schedules and patient needs.
