Overview

The Ambassador role is focused on enhancing the overall patient and visitor experience in a healthcare setting, working 100% outdoors during evening shifts.

In Short

  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and hospital staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Assist with patient navigation within the hospital.
  • Address and resolve inquiries and complaints empathetically.
  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly.
  • Help with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Inform patients about additional hospital services.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency with office software, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Availability for evening shifts.
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors.
