Technical Program Manager - Remote

Overview

WMG is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) who owns the planning and execution of programs across engineering, product, design, and business.

In Short

• Collaborating with engineering, product management, UX design, cybersecurity, and vendors to define requirements, set priorities, and establish scope.
• Developing and owning a communication strategy to proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Driving projects to completion, with clear, measurable impact to the business.
• Owning processes such as the annual and quarterly OKR planning process.
• Managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively.
• Driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
• Tracking issues and aggressively working with the team to close issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with infrastructure, platform systems, migrations, and deprecations of distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with shipping consumer-facing software.
• Ability to develop a strategic roadmap that contributes towards company-wide objectives.
• Able to identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement metrics and KPIs.
