• Looking for a strong Staff Engineer in the Recorded Music Distribution group.
• Enable independent artists and label partners to distribute music via WMG's supply chain.
• Provide quality control, encoding, security, and access to Digital Service Providers.
• Own the creation and delivery of highly innovative products.
• Implement maintainable solutions with high quality and reliability.
• Learn and grow through collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship to other engineers.
• Work with Typescript, Python, AWS, and React.
• Respond to incidents and perform on-call duties.
• Drive to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in backend or full stack development.
• Experience in building large-scale data processing pipelines.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
• High sense of ownership and drive to deliver impact.
• Experience with good abstractions and clean architecture.
• Drive to grow, learn, and master software development.
