Overview

This position provides project staff support and support on training initiatives to ensure the implementation of established environmental and safety policies, programs, and processes, so that operations are managed to keep people safe and protect the environment.

In Short

  • Provides on-site or off-site project staff guidance/support.
  • Conducts training for safety and/or environmental compliance.
  • Performs safety and environmental assessments and audits.
  • Administers online training and maintains training materials.
  • Manages DOT Driver compliance and related programs.
  • Tracks issues identified during training sessions.
  • Assists in managing EHS Recognition programs.
  • Communicates environmental and safety regulatory summaries.
  • Assists in incident management and corrective actions.
  • Utilizes databases and software for compliance tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar area.
  • 5 years of safety/compliance experience, with training experience.
  • Certified Safety Professional or LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn software systems.
  • Knowledge of regulations such as RCRA, DOT, and OSHA.
  • Experience in conducting audits and developing training materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of staff.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Must live and work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time.
