Interdiction Operations Trainer - Remote

Overview

The Interdiction Operations Trainer position involves supporting the US Africa Command's Counter Illicit Trafficking efforts by developing and delivering training to African Partner Nations on interdiction operations.

In Short

• Part-time, on-call position with up to 10% travel required.
• Focus on developing training curriculum for border, airport, and seaport interdiction.
• Deliver in-country training to partner forces in Africa.
• Work as part of a small team to provide training and support.
• Facilitate After Action Reviews to improve training effectiveness.
• Utilize a Program of Instruction framework for course development.
• Must have 10+ years of Federal Law Enforcement or Special Operations experience.
• Instructor experience and strong presentation skills are required.
• Active security clearance is preferred.
• Language proficiency in French and/or Portuguese is desired.

Requirements

• 10 years or more of Federal Law Enforcement experience.
• Experience working with African Partner Nations.
• Certification in recognized Methods of Instruction Course.
• Ability to meet medical and physical requirements for deployment.
• Strong teaching and presentation skills.
• Cross-functional experience in relevant areas is a plus.
• Active Secret or higher security clearance is preferred.
• Advanced educational degree is a plus.
• Language skills in French and/or Portuguese are desired.
• Experience in curriculum and training course development.
