Overview

Wise Pelican is hiring a dedicated Sales Development Representative to serve as the first voice our prospective customers hear. In this high-volume, high-energy role, you'll contact warm inbound leads, qualify them through strategic conversations, and schedule demos or live-transfer them to our Account Executives.

In Short

  • Make 300–500 outbound calls daily to inbound warm leads
  • Qualify leads using loosely structured scripts, active listening, and objection handling
  • Schedule product demos for Account Executives or transfer hot leads directly in real time
  • Maintain accurate contact records, statuses, and call notes in HubSpot
  • Monitor engagement from re-activated or stale leads and re-engage when appropriate
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to optimize scripts and lead conversions

Requirements

  • 1+ year of phone-based or inside sales experience (SaaS or real estate a plus)
  • Energized by high-volume calling and direct outreach
  • Skilled in navigating conversations and qualifying prospects quickly
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM to track pipeline activity
  • Reliable, confident, and coachable. You’re ready to learn and improve constantly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
