Implementation Engineer / Solution Architect - Remote

Overview

As an Implementation Engineer / Solution Architect at Windward, you will be responsible for obtaining an in-depth understanding of how the Windward system works as well as how the customer system works. You will support the customer in implementing our solution and act as the first point of contact for any technical and implementation issues.

In Short

• Write the statement of work (SOW) for functional and nonfunctional requirements until the customer goes live.
• Provide implementation guidance on best practices, error handling, and troubleshooting.
• Design implementation architecture and data flow for integration with the customer.
• Support our solution at the customer site and remotely.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and developers.
• Support Solution Experts in the sales process and Customer success post-sale.
• Work closely with the Customer success, sales, and product team.
• Take part in supporting and building one of the first Gen AI LLM-based enterprise-grade products.
• Interact with internal and external technical stakeholders.
• Travel to the customer's site at least 40% of the time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in delivery, field support engineering / solution architecture.
• Fast learner with strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work hands-on independently and manage engagement with counterparts in customer organizations.
• B.A in a technical discipline (computer science, industrial engineering, information technology).
• Knowledge in ocean freight and supply chain - advantage.
• Familiarity with AI and data analytics tools and APIs such as PowerBI - advantage.
• Experience working in a global company - advantage.
