In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Provide practical and solutions-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and communicate legal and commercial risks.
• Support the continuous improvement of contract templates and processes.
• Conduct legal research on contract law and data-related regulations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Improve operational efficiencies in the legal & contracting space.
• Build internal legal “playbooks” for consistency in negotiations.
• Assist in training business teams on contract-related matters.
• Contribute legal expertise to strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with a State Bar.
• 3+ years of experience as an attorney, focusing on contract drafting.
• Experience with data privacy and security laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
