ELL Paraprofessional - Remote

Overview

The ELL Paraprofessional will provide individualized or small group instruction in English language development, monitor student progress, and assist in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for ELL students.

In Short

• Part-time remote position, up to 4-6 hours per week.
• Flexible days, Monday - Friday during the academic year.
• Provide instruction in English language development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain communication with educators and assist in curriculum adjustments.
• Provide quarterly progress reports for parents.
• Must pass a background check.
• Attend weekly meetings as assigned.
• Prior experience in a virtual classroom is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.

Requirements

• 2 years of post-high school education or higher.
• Experience working with students preferred.
• Ability to work with various computer programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for varying ability levels.
