Manager, Financial Reporting - Remote

Overview

WildBrain is looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting to join our finance team! This role involves managing internal and external financial reporting while driving continuous improvements in financial processes.

In Short

• Responsible for the consolidation of financial results for reporting purposes.
• Prepare external consolidated financial statements and audit committee reports.
• Ensure accuracy of financial master data for reliable reporting.
• Manage quarterly and annual consolidated audits.
• Research accounting standards and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Support management in complex accounting transactions.
• Conduct financial analyses to support accounting positions.
• Lead public company filings including SEDAR.
• Assist in the documentation of accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support ad hoc requests and special projects.

Requirements

• CPA, CA designation or equivalent.
• Experience in a public company or media environment preferred.
• Experience with financial master data management.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to improve existing processes.
• Self-starter with a focus on results.
• Team player with a passion to learn.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel.
