Overview

Western Digital is looking for an experienced Director of Benefits to be a key member of the Total Rewards team, delivering excellent service for employee benefits plans.

In Short

• Develop overall employee benefits strategy and execution of global benefit programs.
• Provide guidance to regional total rewards managers and local HR.
• Scale and streamline administration of benefits plans and programs.
• Develop US and international health and welfare benefits strategies.
• Prepare scorecards, metrics, and reports for management.
• Partner with external benefits vendors and legal counsel.
• Implement a communications strategy for employee understanding.
• Organize and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Proven track record of influential leadership and relationship building.
• Flexibility and efficient time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of integrating benefits technology solutions.
• Experience in design and implementation of benefits programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum ten years of experience in benefits plan design.
