Overview

Welocalize is seeking an experienced Linguistic Quality Control (QC) Specialist to ensure accuracy and compliance in translated clinical research documents and other life sciences-related content.

In Short

• Perform quality control checks on translated documents.
• Review formatting and non-linguistic elements of documents.
• Handle specialized content areas in life sciences.
• Utilize CAT tools for QC tasks.
• Adhere to client-specific guidelines and applications.
• Ensure daily availability during office hours.
• Document QC findings using Microsoft Office.
• Collaborate with project management for timely delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in localization.
• Experience with CAT tools like XTM, Trados, MemoQ.
• Familiarity with QA tools like Xbench or Verifika.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Track Changes in Word.
• Advanced English language skills (C1 or higher).
• Must be able to commit to daily availability.
