Overview

Welocalize is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Specialist for Arabic to ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance in translated materials across various life sciences-related content.

In Short

• Perform rigorous quality control checks on translated documents.
• Review and verify formatting and non-linguistic elements of documents.
• Handle specialized content in areas like Biology and Medical Devices.
• Utilize CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, and MemoQ for QC tasks.
• Adhere to client-specific applications and tools.
• Maintain daily availability and review capacity of 5,000+ weighted words per week.
• Document and communicate QC findings using Microsoft Office.
• Collaborate with project management for timely delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in localization focused on QA/QC.
• Experience with CAT tools like XTM, Trados, MemoQ, or Phrase.
• Familiarity with QA tools such as Xbench or Verifika.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Track Changes in Word.
• Advanced English (C1 or higher) with native Arabic knowledge.
• Must be available for daily commitments.
