Overview

AECOM is seeking a creative and highly talented UXO Quality Control Specialist to implement quality control plans for MEC-related activities in accordance with Department of Defense standards.

In Short

  • Implement project’s quality control plan for MEC-related activities.
  • Conduct and document QC audits for compliance.
  • Identify and document non-conforming conditions.
  • Use global positioning systems for navigation.
  • Prepare daily QC reports.
  • Must meet UXO-TIII criteria.
  • Requires 4+ years of UXO tech experience.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and fitness exam.
  • Graduate of military EOD or accredited UXO training course.
  • Understanding of explosives safety criteria.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • 8-hour OSHA Supervisor training.
  • Military EOD school or accredited UXO training.
  • On-the-job training in MEC-related activities.
  • Experience in munitions response-related work.
  • Explosive Ordnance Disposal certificate preferred.
  • 10-hour or 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety preferred.
  • Prior experience in Guam preferred.
