Data Engineer (Redshift) - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineer at Welltech, you will work on building and supporting the data infrastructure that powers our internal analytics, reporting, and customer-facing products.

In Short

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using modern data tools.
• Implement and maintain data models for analytics use cases.
• Collaborate with data analysts and product teams to gather requirements.
• Apply data validation checks to maintain high data quality.
• Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Contribute to scripting and automation of data workflows using Python and SQL.
• Work with GitLab CI pipelines for data deployments.
• Learn and apply best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Practical experience with AWS services, especially Redshift, S3, and Glue.
• Solid skills in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with dbt for data transformation.
• Exposure to streaming or micro-batching concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with APIs and integrations.
