Overview

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health is responsible for creating an inclusive environment and making a positive first and last impression on patients, performing various administrative tasks to enhance patient experience.

In Short

• Welcome patients and guests
• Conduct visit check-in and assist patients with required forms
• Schedule and reschedule appointments
• Manage phone lines and communications
• Maintain cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
• Perform administrative tasks including fax and mail distribution
• Provide high-touch assistance to patients
• Be part of the Service Team reporting to the Practice Manager
• Juggle multiple tasks efficiently
• Embody the values of Oak Street Health

Requirements

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite
• Professional phone etiquette
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other relevant languages
• US work authorization
• Experience in customer service preferred
• Some college education preferred
• Flexible and positive attitude
• High level of integrity
• Welcoming and nurturing attitude towards older adults
• Ability to take ownership and deliver results
