Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

Weave is looking for a Backend Engineer to help eliminate one of the biggest bottlenecks of drug development: regulatory development. Every phase of a drug’s lifecycle requires extensive documentation to be submitted to the FDA.

In Short

• Eliminate bottlenecks in drug development.
• Develop novel solutions to customer problems.
• Characterize results and deliver solutions into production.
• Focus on stability, performance, and reliability of AI systems.
• Write performant, simple code using Django, Python, Postgres, and Redis.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams.
• Navigate conceptual and technical complexity while delivering value.
• Experience in an early-stage, product-based startup is preferred.
• Direct interaction with LLMs is required.
• Pragmatic and analytical thinker.
