Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

US Mobile is on a mission to revolutionize connectivity, building a software platform for the 21st century and the age of 5G and IoT. We are looking for a skilled backend engineer to join our team and help scale and connect millions of devices to wireless networks.

In Short

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot) or Python (Flask, Django).
• Design and implement asynchronous service communication using RabbitMQ or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Work with NoSQL databases like MongoDB for data modeling and storage.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in system architecture design and code reviews.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile practices.
