Overview

As our Leeds Site Manager, you will play an essential element in Wayfair’s overall strategy to deliver products our customers love to help them love their home. Managing the day to day, you will lead, pivot, inspire and unite cross functional skilled teams to effectively collaborate; enabling this vision to become a reality.

In Short

• Lead a fast paced transport and warehousing delivery operation
• Effectively manage, coach and develop multiple teams supporting personal and team performance.
• Play a key role in improving customer satisfaction and driving repeat business in their region.
• Reduce Order Turn Time by monitoring scheduling platforms.
• Partner closely with the talent management team to address staffing comprehensively.
• Overseeing and managing site Health & Safety aspects.
• Proactively monitor order management systems and routing systems.
• Monitor, report and improve KPI metrics.
• Provide instruction and feedback to third party delivery partners.
• Create and implement training activities for administrative staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an operational supervisor/management role.
• Strong people management skills.
• A proactive and creative approach to continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of safety and legal documentation processes.
• Comfort with delivery routing technologies.
• Good commercial awareness and budget management understanding.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to cover other depots across the UK & Ireland region.
