In Short

• The Fuels Site Manager performs site management tasks related to fuel systems, including minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Coordinates closely with local points of contact at the facility, the project manager, and subcontractors.
• Maintains health and safety requirements and quality control of the site.
• Documents all project activities to ensure all project stakeholders remain informed.
• Initial work will require long-term travel for work in Asia.
• Future opportunities may include continued work in Asia or the U.S.
• Food and lodging will be provided through a man camp arrangement on initial projects.
• Communicates with clients daily regarding project schedule/progress.
• Manages internal teams, subcontractor crews, and schedules as required.
• Conducts daily meetings with field team and facilities personnel as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus minimum 10+ years of DoD Fuels related construction program management.
• Minimum of 5 years of DoD Fuels safety oversight experience.
• Ability to manage and lead multiple subcontractors and employees.
• Must be able to travel abroad for extended periods (6 months).
• Complete daily/weekly field reports with photos using Microsoft Office.
• OSHA 30-hour training and HAZWOPER required.
• Certified in Red Cross First Aid/CPR.
• Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 preferred.
• Direct experience in supporting excavation, heavy equipment inspection, scaffolding, electrical safety, confined space entry rescue, and demolition desired.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
