Logistics Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Wayfair Delivery Network team manages all of Wayfair’s logistics operations from our suppliers to our warehouses or direct to our customers. In Short

• Responsible for the daily coordination and execution of dropship supplier inbound truckload & LTL activities across all major North American markets.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to relay critical network updates, such as fulfillment center capacity availability, carrier performance, and inventory volume fluctuations.
• Manage carrier partners to ensure daily execution of all movements, review performance, and develop improvements to the supply chain based on business priorities.
• Report to leadership on weekly performance metrics and implement solutions to drive improvements.
• Serve as a team leader by providing entry level colleagues (both internal and external stakeholders) a point of escalation and expertise.
• Manage daily upwards of 100-200 emails and attend meetings between carriers, our suppliers and our corporate team members.
• Uphold Wayfair Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators across the transportation network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 1+ years of logistics or equivalent experience.
• Carrier planning experience with OTR or LTL carriers preferred.
• Proven track record in building relationships and handling operational exceptions with appropriate communication, and levels of engagement.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems preferred (EDI load tendering to carrier companies).
• Demonstrated examples of process improvement and KPI measurement and reporting.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Able to collaborate effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
