As the Marketing Events Lead at Wagepoint, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning and executing events that drive engagement and build our brand.

In Short

• Work with the Growth team to develop the concept and strategy for webinars, trade shows, and customer dinners.
• Lead the execution of webinars, trade shows, customer dinners, ensuring every detail is covered from concept to delivery.
• Be a key driver of our annual two-day Wagefest festival, collaborating across teams to create a standout event experience.
• Source and manage vendors, venues, and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure smooth execution and alignment with company goals.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align event strategies with broader business objectives.
• Plan and execute customer-facing events, focusing on fostering strong relationships and delivering value.
• Be responsible for ensuring the successful capture and conversion of leads generated at events.
• Collect feedback, analyze performance, and provide recommendations for future event improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• A knack for creating engaging and memorable event experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors, stakeholders, and attendees.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for events and work flexible hours when needed.
