Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position will design, implement, and support artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) systems as the subject matter expert for Wabash Valley Power Alliance. This position will work with all business units, member cooperatives, and business partners to automate and optimize workflows and processes while limiting business risks.

In Short

• Design, implement, administer, monitor, and maintain AI/ML systems.
• Analyze and maintain system algorithms including data models and machine learning models.
• Train and evaluate AI systems to ensure accuracy.
• Perform complex analysis on large data sets.
• Research and recommend new technology platforms.
• Develop and maintain computer code for AI systems.
• Develop AI models for predictive maintenance and load forecasting.
• Present AI findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with universities' AI/ML programs.
• Educate end-users on AI/ML tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative science or STEM field.
• 3-5 years of AI/ML or data analysis experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technology proficiency and commitment to learning.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments.
