Overview

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to support our customers and internal teams by responding to platform alerts, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating resolution across the organization.

In Short

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding Vultr products and services.
  • Act as a first responder to platform-level alerts and issues.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using established procedures.
  • Identify reported issues related to customer configuration or platform events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for issue resolution.
  • Escalate incidents based on severity and service-level objectives.
  • Communicate with remote data center staff to resolve operational issues.
  • Support the creation of internal and customer-facing documentation.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of servers and infrastructure-as-a-service platforms.
  • Experience with Linux Command Line.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise networking concepts.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
