Senior Technical Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Senior TechOps Specialist is responsible for architecting, securing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure and operational systems, ensuring compliance and security across environments.

In Short

• Architect, implement, and manage AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, and Security Groups.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform and other automation frameworks.
• Lead the design and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments.
• Oversee container orchestration in Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement monitoring and alerting for proactive incident management.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with SOC2 and ISO27001 standards.
• Own the incident response lifecycle and conduct post-mortems.
• Define and enforce security best practices across teams.
• Mentor engineers in TechOps, DevOps, and SRE disciplines.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in AWS and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong leadership in operational excellence and incident response.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for workload management.
• Experience with compliance standards like SOC2 and ISO27001.
• Ability to mentor and guide engineering teams.
• Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools.
