Intermediate Fullstack Engineer - Remote

Overview

As an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer at Voyc, you will develop, optimise, and maintain complex web applications, working across both the backend and frontend stacks, while contributing to AI-driven functionality and ensuring the platform's security and scalability.

In Short

• Develop and maintain complex API-driven web applications using Python, Django, Celery, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Contribute to AI-powered features, as well as reporting, exports, and other core product functionalities.
• Ensure monitoring and logging are integrated into all new features for security, observability, and debugging.
• Optimise database performance across PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Docker, Git/GitHub, and Sentry.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering teams to ensure feature alignment with customer needs and business goals.
• Influence and help drive the feature lifecycle, ensuring that features are developed with the broader system architecture in mind.
• Troubleshoot issues in both frontend and backend systems, improving reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python and Django.
• Experience with JavaScript and ReactJS.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Mentoring experience is a plus.
