Employee Payroll Representative - Part-time - Remote

Overview

The Employee Payroll Representative is responsible for managing transactions impacting the overall employee life cycle records supporting all non-union and unionized VON employees.

In Short

• Part-time position (0.6 FTE) with 45 bi-weekly hours.
• Manage employee life cycle records in multiple organizational systems.
• Maintain knowledge of HR policies and collective agreements.
• Perform audits to ensure data integrity.
• Generate SAP reports for analysis and corrective actions.
• Support Talent Acquisition in the hiring process.
• Prepare employment letters for internal changes.
• Collaborate with Pension and Benefits team on employment status changes.
• Respond to employee inquiries and external verification requests.
• Troubleshoot payroll errors and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Experience in a health care and highly unionized environment is an asset.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
