Overview

As a Senior Data Core Engineer at Vodafone, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of the Mobile Data Core network, providing technical support, and managing network performance.

In Short

• Carry out 2nd level technical support and operational activities for Mobile Data Core network.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle customer tickets and communicate with vendors for service quality.
• Execute software updates and hardware maintenance activities.
• Participate in a standby scheme for 24x7 network support.
• Define and embed consistent operational processes for ongoing support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Three years of experience in telecommunications or relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of PC and software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Very good knowledge in Data Core systems and protocols.
• Ability to work on a 24x7 standby scheme.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
• Good interpersonal skills for effective communication.
