Overview

As a Data Engineer at Vodafone, you will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth data flow and quality.

In Short

Design and maintain data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform.
Collaborate with Product Owner and Solution Architect.
Review architecture, code, and requirements.
Ensure quality control of data pipelines.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
2-3 years of experience in data engineering.
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies and Serverless Computing.
Experience with batch and streaming technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in Agile methodologies preferred.

Requirements

2-3 years in a similar position.
Experience with GCP and serverless computing.
Knowledge of Kafka, Dataflow, Kinesis.
Proficient in Python or another OOP language.
Familiarity with Git and orchestration tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Terraform is a plus.
Strong time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek & English.
