Overview

As a Cloud Infrastructure Sr. Engineer at Vodafone, you'll support the cloud strategy by delivering Telco Cloud virtualized infrastructure, enabling core network onboarding and ensuring capacity, security, resiliency, and automation.

• Support Vodafone’s cloud strategy by delivering Telco Cloud virtualized infrastructure.
• Responsible for end-to-end design and deployment of virtualization networks.
• Key technologies include IaaS, CaaS, and PaaS.
• Collaborate with the VNF/CNF Onboarding team for automated integrations.
• Manage delivery lifecycle of designed solutions.
• Coordinate suppliers and stakeholders for timely project delivery.
• Develop process and automation of VNF/CNF delivery.
• Translate business language into technical requirements.
• Work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Requirements

• Academic degree and at least 5 years of experience in cloud and virtualization.
• Expert in data centre infrastructure and cloud computing.
• Solid understanding of virtualization and containerization.
• Experience with routing and switching protocols.
• Experience with Network Load Balancers and Firewalls.
• Scripting expertise preferred (Power CLI, Powershell, Python).
• Customer oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to deliver results and change.
