• Negotiating, formulating, and executing on growth-impacting deals of varying complexity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to harmonize risk tolerance and manage compliance expectations.
• Serve in an expert role in relation to customer contract negotiations.
• Support research and product expansion initiatives.
• Counsel on general corporate business matters.
• Assist in global expansion efforts beyond core North American operations.
• Operate with relative autonomy as a trusted partner and advisor.

Requirements

• Active member of the Law Society of British Columbia with 4-7 years post-call experience.
• Experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer.
• Experience in driving and negotiating complex contracts.
• Strong attention to detail and great sense of urgency.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple closings.
• Expert collaborator with strong relationship-building skills.
