Overview

We are looking for a motivated OEM BD & Sales Engineer to join our VPG Foil Resistors team for our West Coast territory, focusing on generating new design wins and maintaining existing business.

In Short

• Conduct weekly onsite and virtual customer visits
• Generate and manage new business opportunities
• Cultivate relationships with design engineers
• Promote VPG Foil Resistor brands
• Develop strategic plans for market penetration
• Perform technical consultations and product presentations
• Maintain account reports and CRM documentation
• Target specific market segments
• Travel expectations up to 35%
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of successful technical electronics sales experience
• New Business Development experience
• OEM Experience
• Proven track record in achieving design-in objectives
• Strong technical knowledge of passive components preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strategic analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
