• Seeking a highly experienced attorney for legal advice on consumer payments and fintech.
• Position reports to Senior Director, Senior Managing Counsel, Regulatory Affairs.
• Involvement in regulatory support for Visa products and services.
• Work closely with experienced lawyers and compliance professionals.
• Support regulatory and government activities in the U.S. and globally.
• Assist in developing strategy and managing relationships with regulators.
• Skills in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
• Hybrid position with 3 set days in the office.

Requirements

• JD (admitted to practice law in the U.S.) required.
• 10-12 years' attorney experience preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. laws on payments, fintech, and digital assets.
• Experience providing strategic and business-oriented legal advice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for payment regulatory issues.
