• Build and optimize dbt models, dimensional structures, and semantic layers.

• Implement data tests, validation frameworks, and lineage visibility.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to productionize pipelines.
• Document models, metrics, and business logic for cross-team use.
• Must reside in the USA and have documentation for independent contractor work.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI engineering, or data engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, particularly with healthcare data processing.
• Strong data modeling skills and familiarity with orchestration tools.

Requirements

• Expert SQL and production-grade dbt experience.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Solid engineering fundamentals including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with analysts and product teams.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or data portals (nice-to-have).
